Personality: Well-meaning Clara might surprise others by her tendency to rapidly shift her train of thought mid-conversation. She is easily excitable and even more easily distracted, which on more than one occasion has caused her to completely forget what she was doing only moments before. Because of the fact that she is incredibly disorganized, Clara has a tendency to jot important things down on sticky notes and papers that she keeps in folders in the messenger bag she always wears. Learning names, birthdays, and directions proves especially challenging because she's so scatterbrained. At surface-level she may seem air-headed or forgetful, but underneath she is a girl learning to live on her own for the first time and trying to get used to a new-found sense of freedom and responsibility. Once she opens up to someone she shows a profound sense of loyalty and protectiveness towards them, displaying a more mature side of her personality at the same time.

History: Clara was born and raised in a small town with two younger twin siblings. Her family was always an important part of her life growing up, always there to support her. In fact, her love of photography developed as a result of the influence of her two artisan parents. They fostered a growing creativity with their children early on, particularly with Clara. Though they showed her a number of different types of art, ranging from paints to sculpting, nothing seemed to hold Clara's attention for long. She was always more interested in looking outside or watching the landscape as it changed throughout the seasons. When her parents noticed this fixation, they bought her a small children's camera for Christmas when she was 5 years old.

This led to a love of photography that became the focal point of Clara's hobbies and free time. Her constant forgetful and easily-distracted nature was easier for her to manage when she could capture memories in everlasting photos. This passion eventually evolved so greatly that in high school Clara decided that she would attend college as a photography major. Her parents, proud that their daughter was so devoted to her hobby, didn't protest in the slightest. However, the summer before her freshman year was to start, a peculiar letter arrived in the mail advertising a little secluded town called Idlewood Forest. Clara was instantly captured by the photographs displaying the scenery of the hidden village, and instantly set her mind upon visiting for the summer to take a few photographs of the beautiful grotto. Little did she know, somewhere in the back of her mind, the idea of staying there started to take root before she had even arrived...
