Link is one half of a dynamic duo, possessing a love for videogames and a lazy disposition. Thanks to the fact that he always seems to have his nose in a portable game device, Link is rather oblivious and seems to have a devil-may-care attitude. He can be a bit of a wisecracker, appreciating puns and jokes and usually very open with both friends and new faces thanks to his natural charisma. When he's not busy trying to get a high score in his games, Link can often be found lazing about or doing activities that require minimal thought. Although he was once openly flirty, he now tends to reserve this for his position in the school's Host Club (though he's not shy with bestowing more charming compliments to others if they catch his interest). Compared to the more reserved Lucas, immaturity is also one of Link's notable traits. This is most often visible when he loses a game or lets his impatience shine through.

From the moment they were born, Link and Luke were inseparable. Raised as the only children in an average household in Viridian City, the twins enjoyed doing everything together. They were content spending time with each other, never bothered as they fell in and out of friend groups growing up and reassured in the knowledge that they could always rely on each other when no one else was around. The twins developed a love of pranks and fell into a mischievous streak soon after starting middle school. It is unclear to most how this began, but it quickly became one of their most discernible traits.

Although the twins were born and raised in Viridian City, they had relatives spread throughout both Kanto and Johto and would visit their uncle and cousins in Goldenrod City each summer. Thanks to this, both Link and Luke were familiar with the area. When their parents suggested that they try "studying abroad" for high school once they finished their freshman year, the twins knew right away that they wanted to return to Goldenrod. They wasted no time in enrolling at Harmonia Academy, eager to try out the freedom and independence of boarding school away from home.

 Since enrolling in Harmonia, Link has distanced himself from his former pranking hobby (just as Lucas has). Now, the Pikachu prefers to spend most of his time dedicated to videogames or sleeping in. Link has made a few friends and has already had his fair share of new experiences. Most recently, the Pikachu found himself changed into a feral Pokémon for a few weeks. After finally returning to his normal bipedal form, he noticed that a few of his feral traits carried over (most notably, lighter fur color and speckling around the tips of his ears). After getting a new haircut and changing one of his classes, the Pikachu is hopeful that he can once again settle into the school routine and get back to normalcy. Or as normal as things can get in Harmonia...

• Although he wouldn't consider himself bisexual, Link doesn't mind flirting with/teasing boys
• If his portable games ever run out of battery, Link tends to use his ability Static to charge them
